Nothing this week

By February 23, 2021Health, Other

Dear All,

I am back from several days in hospital after yet another kidney stone incident, and am too whacked to write anything. But there’s a good one next week, all being well, including me.

Cheers,

Don

All the best Don, just a minor setback for a National Treasure. We are all rooting for you even if we cannot agree amongst ourselves. We look foreword to your next epistle. Take care, look after your health as number one priority.

“We are all rooting for you”

Could we avoid this unfortunate Americanism please.

Had a friend come around with his haquvana petrol hedge trimmer – awesome job – could not get over the clean cut where as our electric hedge cutter would tear holes in the hedge.

The word ‘climate’ would probably be enough to keep people happy for a week.

Best wishes. Don’t push yourself, we need your voice of rationality far into the future.

Hang in there Don. Us oldies are dropping like flies and most of the kiddies are brainwashed.

    We need you.

All the best and good luck.

Sent BBs mathemathical proofing of the effect “mans” has on CO2 – he said it was BS – from a 50 year old who reckons Lithium Batteries are going to be the savior.

      • spangled drongo says:

Yes John, just luv those Li batteries. Got a great string of various tools in my shed that worked perfectly for a very short time until the batteries went flat. Now it’s as expensive [and much more difficult] to buy a new battery as a new tool so they are all useless.

The same tools with petrol motors are twice as powerful and last forever. Those on power leads are also twice as powerful and last nearly forever.

Batteries are a sick joke for serious work.

Why would EVs be any different?

  • John Stankevicius says:

All the best for a speedy recovery and looking forward to the next topic .

Don I hope you have a full recovery and looking forward to your next essay.

  • Grandma says:

Best wishes for a speedy recovery Don. You are a national treasure.

  • Beth Cooper says:

Your essays are the voice of reason, Don, like Socrates’. 🙂 Wishing you a speedy recovery.
